The Bluegold is a strong plant and is known as a healthy variety and a vigorous grower that can reach a decent height. The Bluegold grows upright. The fruits have a good flavour and are sweet with a subtle tangy touch; they are medium-sized and firm. The powder-blue fruits are ripe in July/August. An early variety that produces delicious fruits on compact, round shrubs. By the end of spring, the plant is full of white flowers that grow into firm, tasteful blueberries during the summer. The fruits grow in large clusters and are therefore easily harvested.
